Today, we finished watching The Merchant of Venice. When finished, you were instructed to prepare for a future essay by creating a summary of the play and a character sketch for each character as well. You were then to determine how the characters were affected by the plots and by one another. You were also instructed to look up themes for this drama. Keep in mind that you have your unit exam on Monday and need to be really familiar with the play to do well.
